Challenges :
This initiative has been taken to cater to the major increase in CONNCECTIONS user base accompanied by a significant addition of application functionality. In order to meet these new demands, a new architecture with new software and hardware were deployed. Build 18 allow 6000 concurrent users from all 58 districts of New York State to access the system (legacy application allowed only 1800 concurrent users). In addition to these new users, over 300 voluntary agencies across the state also have the ability to access CONNECTIONS.

Challenges :
In an effort to promote more transparency and accountability at the City of Coral Gables both for internal stakeholders and its citizens, the Office of the City Clerk desired to create a number of dashboards that could graphically represent various activities within the department. The City wanted to leverage its SAP Business Objects software and extract information from existing databases in order to create the various dashboards. A previous attempt by another vendor had failed to create the desired results. The City was working with a tight time frame and a very limited budget.
